Information we share

When you submit file fingerprints to White Cloud for Trust-Listing™, we may store it and share it with the user, trust-listing, anti-malware and security industry communities in a way that preserves your anonymity (normally other individual and commercial users use new fingerprints to help them establish the identify and trust of Apps identified by these fingerprints to help protect them against malware and enable the execution of trusted Apps). The fingerprints can be analysed by automatic tools and security analysts to detect the appearance and spread of malicious code and to improve trust-listing systems and computer security. Participating anti-malware and security companies will adhere to White Cloud's Usage Policies when using these fingerprints which do not encroach on your privacy or anonymity.

Files, URLs, comments, posts, ratings, likes and dislikes and any other content submitted to or shared within White Cloud may also be viewed on to other users on our public cloud when made on a public profile and included in premium private services offered by White Cloud to the trust-listing, anti malware and ICT security industry, with the sole aim of improving research activities, expecting it to lead to an overall safer internet and greater end-user protection.

In addition, we may also share your information in the following circumstances:

We may share aggregated, anonymized information publicly and with our partners – like the anti-malware and security industry. For example, we may share information publicly to show statistical trends about the general use of our services or specific Apps by the public using our service.

In the event that White Cloud is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

You should not share files, URLs, comments or any other content with White Cloud unless you have authority to share it.
